“I don’t know. She’s just, you know, sitting with her family.”
“Are they going to dirty dance?”
“Yeah.”
“Woah. What’s going on? Why are they up on that stage? What do they think they’re doing?”
“OH MY GOD. Just watch.¬†It’s….It’s kind of¬†hard to explain¬†if you haven’t seen the whole thing.¬†Do we need to turn this off?”

I still don’t get it. She’s got a prime position in the corner where she has her back to the wall and can prevent anyone from sneaking up on her. She put herself in the corner right? Or did it have to do with the hour and a half I missed in the middle of the movie when I assumed they were dancing dirty. Can they show that on TV? MadTV once did a skit that showed what the Sopranos would be like censored on network TV and a typical one-hour episode was 15 seconds long.

It’s too bad we can’t insert audio clips into these comments, because the “Jeanie Shawna Shawna” is so appropriate, and doesn’t drive it home as well as the real audio would have.

And Justin, be glad you didn’t see the part where the older sister is practicing for the talent show…that little hawaiian tune she does is so bad it gets stuck in your head for hours.
I mean…I’ve never seen Dirty Dancing.

OK…now I’m going to have dreams/nightmares about the sister doing the Hawaii-thing.
Of course, I own both movies on DVD and now don’t plan to watch them for the next 10 years.

Oh, we’ll get to audio clips DAMN STRAIGHT WE WILL. When I become a computer genius. For now I am still figuring out why it is that when I post a photo from Flickr, it distorts the font (makes it bigger) on all the posts below it. Not badly at all, just enough so that I notice and go crazy. Suggestions?
