To Rome!

Later today we leave for Rome to see my parents, who have spent the last few months there. I plan to blog extensively, chronicling our travels, including Nora's first plane trip! Exciting that for her very first plane trip we've chosen, not a short jaunt to, say, Boston or D.C., but an eight hour flight over the Atlantic. Jump right in. Back soon, reporting from Italy - after, of course, we've had our first espresso.

Elixir guitar strings, now with "great tone," if you catch my drift

J bought these guitar strings recently, which he proudly displayed in the living room, and keeps going on and on about their "Polyweb" coating or whatever and how awesome they are. Seriously, look at that box! Elixir?! "Long life?!" Every single time I glance over in that direction I'm all, "Who the HELL put a box of condoms on our bookshelf?"
