Tomato plants that I hope to move outside soon, if we can get the soil to be more reasonable. And less, um, hard. DSCF3419

A new rug and she believes she looks very nice upon it.

The bleeding heart plant that bloomed in our backyard. This particular flower always reminds me of when I was little and my mother had them in the garden.

I got a package in the mail the other day. Bright pink Crocs my father bought for me and tiny pink Crocs my Aunt Barbara bought for the baby.

More pictures soon, especially since J has been experimenting with his new Canon Rebel XTi, which far outshines the little digital camera I stole from my parents several years ago and have been using since then. I might even start taking some pictures with the new camera, once I stop being so scared of it.

Missing Max Bobbitt

I was just cleaning out a bunch of old posts I'd started to write on this blog but had never published, when I came upon one I'd written in Maine last summer, with this picture of Max, who I never said goodbye to - publicly, as he deserved - on this blog. Max moved to Poland earlier this year to be with his girl. I know you guys miss the tales (and here, and here). And we definitely miss Max. So, for now, here's a picture of the man himself, sitting on the couch with Cecilia. What's he thinking about? Philosophy? Art? Getting a cold Budweiser out of the fridge? If I know Max, and I am lucky to say that I do, I'm betting on all of the above...
